The Sonic Team has gone all out on Sonic Advance 2. The graphics are really cool and many of the sprites are improved, while some completely new.

In the famous screen shot of all four characters in one area, many thought there would be a story in this game and yes there is one. More information about the story later. I must say one thing though. I have yet to encounter that bit with all of the characters in the leaf forest. A secret perhaps?

Defeating the bosses (which are always Robotnik) is done differently this time around. After you cleared act 2, you are taken to the boss stage. All of the boss battles are done while you are running. To describe this, think of how you fought Robotnik in Sonic & Knuckles' Mushroom Hill Zone. Since you're running, this adds a new challenge to fighting the bosses thus making them some of the challenging bosses in a Sonic game. With Cream the bosses are easier because she can just through Cheese at Robotnik (yes, that sounds weird).

Sadly like in Sonic Advance 1, you will run into and fall down pits uncontrollable. It's more noticeable in the later stages. On the plus side, grinding isn't such a pain to pull like in the first game so you'll find yourself grinding all of the time.
